The agro-industrial sector exported nearly USD 33 billion during the first half ofthe year, according to Todo Agro.

This represents a 21% increase compared to the same period in 2023, amounting to an additional USD 3.99 billion in revenue. The sectors with the highest relative growth were cotton, wheat, and sugar-alcohol. The Argentine Agroindustrial Council released figures for June, showing significant growth in
these sectors and highlighting the importance of soybeans and corn. Wheat, soybean, and corn sectors were the largest contributors to year-on-year growth, while peanuts, barley, and sunflower mitigated this increase. For June alone, exports totaled USD 4.109 billion, which is USD 798 million more than in June 2023.
