Puerto Necochea

Necochea es una ciudad ubicada en la costa atlántica de la provincia de Buenos Aires. Tiene un puerto importante al final del río Quequén Grande y su encuentro con el Mar Argentino.

La principal actividad económica es proporcionada por el Puerto de Necochea – Quequén. Desde esta estación se exportan anualmente millones de toneladas de granos argentinos, así como mariscos. También es una de las principales rutas de entrada de fertilizantes. Debido a sus características, es uno de los puertos nacionales más rápidos de entrada y salida de buques de más de 200 metros de largo, que son asistidos por servicios de remolque.

El puerto está equipado con elevadores que pueden almacenar grandes cantidades de granos, los cuales son transportados al puerto por camiones y trenes a lo largo de la región.
