Puerto Fray Bentos

Este puerto uruguayo se encuentra en el Km 95 del río Uruguay, en la margen izquierda, a unos 171 millas de Montevideo. Los buques llegan al puerto transitando por el Río de la Plata y los canales Martín García, y luego continuando por el río Uruguay.

La terminal de granos está cerca de la ciudad de Fray Bentos, con dos muelles disponibles para buques oceánicos. La terminal es operada por la fábrica de papel UPM, cuyos buques en este muelle cargan producción de UPM, pasta de papel.
