Puerto La Plata

El Puerto de La Plata es el primer puerto argentino del Río de la Plata y tiene una profundidad de 28 pies. Este puerto también cuenta con un astillero ubicado en la margen sur del estuario del Río de la Plata. El Canal de Acceso funciona bajo las balizas estándar IALA, permitiendo la operación del Puerto La Plata durante las 24 horas. Capacidad: 600,000 m² para almacenamiento de mercancías, 150,000 m² para almacenamiento de autos y maquinaria. Espacios de oficinas, salas de exhibición, almacenes y mini Balance Fiscal. Hacia el oeste en el Río Santiago: Sitios 1, 2, 3 y 5: adecuados para reparación, pesca, servicios de amarre de embarcaciones y carga general a granel. Calado máximo: 24 pies.

Sobre el Muelle Central ribereño de Ensenada: Sitios 7 y 8, para sólidos a granel (carbón), operados por la empresa Copetran S.A., calado máximo: 28 pies, certificado internacionalmente por el Código ISPS. Sitio 9: carga general, 270 metros de muelle, 60 metros. Almacenamiento de respaldo, calado máximo de 28 pies, certificado internacionalmente por el Código ISPS. Sitios 10, 11 y 12: líquidos a granel, operados por Repsol-YPF S.A., profundidad máxima de 24 pies, certificado internacionalmente por el Código ISPS.

Sobre el Muelle Central ribereño de Berisso: Sitios 14, 15 y 16, adecuados para líquidos a granel, operados por Repsol-YPF S.A., profundidad máxima de 24 pies, certificado internacionalmente por el Código ISPS. Sitios 18 y 19, adecuados para carga general, calado máximo de 24 pies. Sitio 20, amarre permanente de embarcaciones de servicio, profundidad máxima de 24 pies.

Cabe destacar que todos los muelles ubicados en la conexión del Muelle Central cuentan con energía para embarque (220-380 voltios) y sistema de agua potable. Sobre el Río Santiago: Sitio 23, 250 metros de largo y 24 pies de profundidad, para el servicio comercial del Astillero Río Santiago y la Zona Franca La Plata. Sitio 24, Terminal Puerto Rocca, carga de acero, 18 pies de profundidad.
