Container ship hits road bridge in Baltimore, causing logistical chain collapse.

This morning, the container ship “Dali,” registered in Singapore, was en route to Sri Lanka when it collided with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, causing several vehicles to fall into the water. Twenty people are missing. Two were rescued, one unharmed, the other critical. Governor Wes Moore declared an emergency. The bridge is crucial for Baltimore’s port, which generates billions annually. The cargo ship involved had left for Sri Lanka. The cause is under investigation. Last year, a bridge collapsed in Philadelphia after a truck fire.
